Common questions
How are weekdays counted between two dates?
The weekday total counts Monday through Friday, including the earlier date and excluding the later date by default. Include both dates adds the later date. Holidays are not excluded. Add/subtract mode can also skip weekends.
Why do different tools give different 'months between' answers?
Because months have different lengths, there are several conventions: counting complete calendar months, dividing days by 30.44, or anchoring to the same day-of-month. Tools that pick different conventions disagree by a day or a month near boundaries; the day count is the unambiguous figure.
